Arc de Triomphe
The Arc de Triomphe is one of the most famous monuments in Paris and is centrally located. It was built to honour the sacrifices of the French who fought and died in the French Revolution and the Napoleonic wars.
Eiffel Tower
The iconic Eiffel Tower is easily one of the most recognisable structures in the world. It stands at a height of 324 metres. It has 3 levels which are open to tourists. The first two levels have restaurants whereas the thirds level is an observation deck.
Hôtel national des Invalides
The Hôtel national des Invalides is a majestic monument which houses monuments and museums saluting the military history of France. Easily, the most famous exhibit of this place is the tomb of Napolean Bonaparte.
Rodin Museum
This museum is dedicated to the works of the famous sculptor Auguste Rodin. His most famous work is The Thinker, which you will find here. Other famous works of his found here include The Kiss and The Gates of Hell. Most of the sculptures are displayed in the beautiful gardens of the museum.
Orsay Museum
Built in a now-defunct railway station, the Orsay Museum has some early French art. It also houses a great collection of post-impressionist artists like Monet, Manet, Renoir and Van Gogh.
Seine River Cruise
The Seine River Cruise is a great way to see Paris. You will get to see most of the monuments in Paris as they are located by the Seine. We would recommend you take this cruise in the evening, so you can see all the monuments lit up.

The Panthéon
The Panthéon was a built as a church in the Latin quarter of Paris but over the years and after many changes it has become a secular mausoleum which has the remains of some of the most distinguished French citizens like Victor Hugo, Marie Curie and Louis Braille.
Notre Dame
The Notre Dame is a cathedral built in the medieval times and is a prime example of the Gothic style of architecture. It has huge colourful rose windows and an abundance of sculpture decorating it including the famous gargoyles.
The Louvre
Located in the heart of Paris by the banks of the Seine, the Louvre is the largest collection of art and history in the world. You could possibly spend all of your two days here, but some planning and the handy audio guide will help you make the best of your time.
Palais Garnier
The Palais Garnier is a beautiful opera house recognised for its opulence. It is probably the most famous opera house in the world.
The Sacré-Cœur is a Catholic church located at the summit of Montmartre, which is the highest geographical point in the city. It is a beautiful monument with lovely views of the city and a completely different vibe from the other sights.
